Founder : Andrew Zwane

Seed Harvest Organisation was founded by Andrew Zwane after he lost his wife and child in 2005. He has also served as the vice chair person of SOCA(Society of Caribbean and Africans) and Trustee of EMA (Ethnic Minority Association of Broxbourne. Gardening became the most therapeutic pillar to his life and has brought new beginnings to his life. In 2007 he planted some tomato seeds on a flower pot and placed in his bathroom window seal were he natured them until they produced fruits. The joy of hope and satisfaction of harvesting something he had grown himself made him to apply for any allotment where he is growing fruits and vegetable with the help from friends and communities who come and learn from his knowledge and expertise. He is now working on his allotment with families and children, the elderly, people with learning disability, HIV and Aids, churches, business and other organisations here and abroad.
